Alexandra started her career at Unilever in 1996, as a Research Manager in Unilever Romania's marketing department Next year she was promoted Marketing Manager Personal Wash. Since 1998, she spent six years working for Unilever in Italy and Czech Republic, as Brand Manager and Marketing Manager In 2003 she returned to Romania, as Director of the Home and Personal Care division for Unilever South Central Europe. She became, in November 2005, the first Romanian chairman in Unilever's history, being appointed Chairman of Unilever South Central Europe, in charge for more than 800 employees.
Right after this, she made a journey in all the countries from the area, to meet the people she's in charge with.This appointment also lead to her entrance, on the 35th place, in the Top 100 Successful Women from Romania made by Capital economic magazine.
