Since 1997 Gilda Lazar has been Corporate Affairs Director for JTI Romania, her responsibilities being to  create, develop and execute communications strategies and plans in support of business  objectives. She is also in charge of the government relations, community relations, internal communications,  special events and consumer relations. In 2005 Gilda became vice -president of the “Romanian Association of PR Professionals”, in charge with Institutional PR.

She published more than 5,000 articles in national newspapers and magazines (Curentul, Romania Libera, Dreptatea, among others). Several of them were selected for publication in various foreign newspapers ("Courrier International", "The Atlanta Journal and Constitution") In 1995, she was declared the “best woman journalist in Romania”.

In 1986 Gilda received her MA from the University of Bucharest, Philological Faculty, and in 2006 she was studying for her second MA in Business Law – Romanian American University.

Gilda Lazar was born in 1964 and speaks Romania, English and Russian.
