Irinel Burloiu is Business Development Manager for Intel Corporation. He is responsible for developing relationship with key government and IT decision makers in Romania and Bulgaria. He is focused on developing and implementing national and regional programs to increase PC penetration rates and literacy, modernize the local small and medium enterprise infrastructure, and support national educational goals through technology investments.
Former High School Mathematics teacher, he has a special focus on Education, collaborating with educators and government on education improvements in the country. Irinel promotes importance of 21st century learning skills -- critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, communication and technology skills -- to career advancement. He looks forward to helping young people develop the skills they need to succeed and prosper in the workplace.
Irinel began his Intel career in 2002, being responsible for accelerating local computer integrators growth, through innovative business models and platform solutions tailored to meet local market needs.
Prior to joining Intel Corporation he has held a number of other positions in IT industry in the area of sales and software development.
He was born in 1974; he received a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from University of Bucharest in 1998, and currently is enrolled in a Master in Business Program at Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Irinel Burloiu is married and has two children.
