Director of Sales and Marketing

Since January 2002, Mioara Gheorghe has been the director of sales and marketing of Crowne Plaza Bucharest. She is responsible for the monitoring of all aspects of the hotel’s sales operations, including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration and public relations.

Her background includes 3 years as banqueting manager with Sofitel hotel and 4 years as sales manager with Hilton. In both hotels she has worked from the beginning preparing the opening of the hotels and getting experience in operational and sales as well.

Mioara Gheorghe graduated in september 1983 from the Academy of Economic Studies, Faculty of Economic Planning and Cybernetics. She is fluent in English and French, likes reading, travelling and enjoys old history mysteries.
